Real Madrid claimed to be at great risk if they decide to buy Paul Pogba from Manchester United. This was said by the former club president, Ramon Calderon.
Real Madrid is currently called for seeking Paul Pogba's transfer. Los Blancos want to complete the luxury squad that they built in the 2019 summer transfer market.
Paul Pogba himself gave the code that he wanted to move from United. The 26-year-old player claimed that his career at United was enough and needed a new challenge. Pogba has played three seasons at United.
Ramon Calderon assesses the desire to buy Paul Pogba can have a bad risk. Because, the player has been known to have a bad temper outside the field. It is a risk that must be borne by Real Madrid.
"I think the transfer of Paul Pogba has a risk. It can even be dangerous because he has been proven if his behavior is not good at a certain time," said Ramon Calderon quoted from The Sun.
Paul Pogba is indeed called to be an important figure behind the tempest in United's squad in the last 2018/19 season. The Frenchman was reported to be the 'leader' in the dressing room in an effort to overthrow Jose Mourinho's position as United's manager.
Protagonist figure
"Paul Pogba is the protagonist at the club and it happened repeatedly, he was in conflict with the coach or sometimes also with his team-mates. The record in my opinion is rather dangerous," said Ramon Calderon.
Even so, the Ramon Calderon did not dismiss it if there was a possibility that Paul Pogba would be 'tame' at Real Madrid. This condition may occur if there is a coach who is able to make Paul Pogba feel comfortable.
"Players can change their attitude if the atmosphere at the club is different and they have found the right players and coaches. In this case, it looks like [Zinedine] Zidane is attracted to him and it can change his character," said Ramon Calderon.
Zidane himself has long said he was interested in buying Paul Pogba. Equally from France, Zidane is believed to be able to make a good personal approach to make Paul Pogba play optimally.
